When I first heard about CBD oil, I (among many others I'm sure) thought, "Is this just another way of getting high? Is this illegal? Is CBD oil drugs..." etc etc etc. I was intrigued to learn a bit more about it and I found all the answers to my questions quite quickly online.
No, its not going to get you high. No, it is not illegal. NO, it is not drugs!
I wanted to try CBD oil as I hadn't been sleeping very well and I was feeling a bit stressed/anxious over the past few months. I heard taking CBD can help with those problems. I've been using it for just over a month now and I have been sleeping great. I use to lay in bed, feeling tired, exhausted and overthinking the littlest things, yet I couldn't fall asleep. I'd end up playing candy crush or something to try make myself tired. The next morning I would be wrecked. I noticed a change straight away from the first time trying this. I wasn't sure it would help if I am being honest, So I am thrilled that it did.
Initially when I got the CBD oil, it smelled pretty strong and as hilarious as this sounds, I had no idea how to take it!? I had to go on to YouTube to watch a tutorial video. I learned you simply put 1 drop under your tongue, inhale and exhale for a few seconds and then swallow. As for the smell, I was skeptical that I would not like the taste, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was definitely expecting the worst, like a cod liver oil tablet bursting in your mouth or something.
Since using the CBD Oil, I have been having brilliant sleeps, I don't wake up during the night and I feel much more relaxed than I have been feeling previously. I take 1 drop about 1 hour before I go to sleep. I don't take it every night. Some days are better than others and I know my own body so I know when I don't need the oil's help.

Without going into too much scientific detail, here is some information on commonly asked question that you may want to know more about:
What is CBD Oil?:
Different cannabis plants - often called hemp or marijuana - contain different levels of chemical compounds. How people breed the plant affects the CBD levels. Most CBD oil comes from industrial hemp, which usually has a higher CBD content than marijuana. Makers of CBD oil use different methods to extract the compound. The extract is then added to a carrier oil and called CBD oil. CBD oil comes in many different strengths, and people use it in various ways.
Does CBD Oil make you high?:
CBD is an entirely different compound from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) , and its effects are very complex. It is not psychoactive, meaning it does not produce a "high" or change a person's state of mind, but it influences the body to use its own endocannabinoids more effectively.
What are the benefits in using CBD Oil?:
- smoking cessation and drug withdrawal
- Arthritis pain
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Chronic pain
- reducing some of the effects of Alzheimer's, as shown by initial research
- antipsychotic effects on people with schizophrenia
- future applications in combating acne, type 1 diabetes, and cancer
If you want to try CBD oil for yourself, I would highly recommend buying from Greenheart CBD
